When vibration analysis is performed
Vibration analysis is typically carried out as part of predictive maintenance every 6 to 12 months, before potential issues arise, to monitor motor health.
In other cases, it is performed when anomalies occur, such as unusual vibration, metallic noise, overheating or performance drops, to diagnose the problem. It is also conducted after major maintenance interventions such as motor rewinding, rotor repair or bearing replacement, or on critical and high-speed machinery equipped with continuous monitoring systems that collect real-time data.
